Charlie came into my life in January 2011 and changed my whole world. This dog also came with a sensitive tummy and while I was researching ways to help her feel better, I ran across a recipe for pumpkin dog biscuits. Apparently pumpkin is a miracle food for dogs! So I started baking my own dog biscuits. I also started reading the labels on her dog treats and was shocked when I noticed how much of it was “Made in China” or had ingredients I couldn’t pronounce. Knowing how short a dog’s life is, I wanted to do everything possible to make Charlie’s a long one… and so began the Kanine Kitchen!
